Talking pattern/talking color (jiayu deng(Eva))

Reflection 

For these projects, I went to Greenwich Market and street-side bookstore to do some research .l observed various shop selling handmade crafts at the market. There were many distinctive handcrafted artworks, antiques, and handmade souvenirs. Along the market’s roadside, there were many flowers of different colors, so I drew them on paper using the blending of crayons and watercolors.l really interest is the bookstore by the roadside. The bookmarks inside were exquisitely designed with unique patterns, full of creativity and rich yet harmonious colors. So, I first applied a base color with various watercolors, then outlined the details with colored pencils to add layers and texture to the picture, and finally highlighted the key patterns with bright crayons.Through this practice, I discovered that the combination of different materials can create rich visual effects, but it is also necessary to consider the interaction between materials. For instance, the oiliness of crayons can affect the penetration of watercolors.
